Enabling/Disabling Out of Office Assistant from Your Blackberry

Turning On and Off

You can set your Outlook Out of Office Assistant from your BlackBerry handheld device.
To turn on and set the Out of Office Assistant:

 

  1. From Home screen, highlight the "Message"icon and click twice with the trackwheel.
  2. Scroll and click on "Options"
  3. Scroll and click on "Email Settings"
  4. Scroll to "Use out of Office Reply", click and click on "Change Option"
  5. Scroll to "Yes" and click.
  6. Scroll down to box, type in Out of Office message, and click trackwheel.
  7. Scroll to "Save" option and click.

To turn off the Out of Office Assistant:

Repeat above steps, except in step 5, scroll to "No" and click twice, and then skip to step 7.
